WHAT DOES THE INSIDE OF THE HELMET LOOK LIKE?

Thousand helmets have three internal cooling channels that run from front to back. For comfort and fit, helmets have removable liners, also making them easier to wash. Pictures coming soon!

HOW DO I GET THE RIGHT FIT?

Before ordering your helmet, check out our sizing chart to determine your head size. Our helmets fit on the larger side. If your head measures "in-between sizes," we recommend that you size down to ensure a snugger helmet. Once you receive your helmet, there are two ways to customize your fit: 1. If your helmet feels a little loose, open up the Fit Pad bag, and swap out the current pads with the thicker set. 2. Adjust the buckle on the strap to tighten the helmet.

DO THOUSAND HELMETS MEET SAFETY STANDARDS?

Thousand helmets meet US (CPSC) and European (CE) Safety Standards.

DOES FREE SHIPPING APPLY TO ME?

We offer free standard US shipping to any helmet order. (applies to locations within the 48 contiguous United States - excludes Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico).

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

We currently ship to countries where we comply with local safety regulations. International shipping is $25 USD/helmet. Custom and other import duties and fees may be applied to international orders when the shipment reaches its destination. Such fees and charges are the responsibilities of the recipient and vary from country to country. In certain instances Thousand may pay for duties on behalf of the customer. In these instances the goods will be imported on behalf of the consignee/ebuyer and the buyer is the importer of record. The consignee authorizes Thousand to import the goods on his behalf. Further, the consignee/buyer agrees that Thousands may delegate the obligation to import the goods on his behalf to a subcontractor.

I NEED TO CHANGE OR UPDATE MY ORDER. WHAT DO I DO?

Please contact us immediately at taylor@explorethousand.com with your request and we will be more than happy to update your order, change your address, etc. Kindly note that changes cannot be made once the order has already shipped.

CAN I PURCHASE OR TRY ON A THOUSAND HELMET AT A LOCAL RETAILER?

Check out our Retailers page. If you don't see a retailer near you, we're connecting with more retailers to get them in stores soon. Subscribe to our newsletter to stay up to date on where you can find Thousand products in the future.

WHAT'S YOUR RETURN POLICY?

Not loving the helmet? You will have a whopping 30 days from the date of delivery to inquiry about a return/exchange. Please contact us as soon as possible at taylor@explorethousand.com with your email address and order number. Once we approve your request you will receive instructions on how to return the product to Thousand.

HOW DO I KEEP MY THOUSAND HELMET LOOKING GOOD?

You can clean the helmet’s shell, pads and retention system with mild soap and water (do not submerge). The use of any solvent, paint or decal can cause damage to the helmet which may not be visible to wearer.

HOW SHOULD I STORE THE HELMET?

Store it out of direct sunlight in dry, temperate conditions. Avoid contact with pointed objects, sharp edges or compression. Do not store your helmet in a dark vehicle or near a heat source as extreme heat may cause damage to the helmet. Heat damaged helmets show bubbly and uneven surfaces. If damaged, the helmets should be destroyed and replaced immediately.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD A HELMET BE REPLACED?

The general recommendation is replacing your helmet every three (3) years. If you are unsure of the condition of your helmet, or whether it should be replaced, please email us at taylor@explorethousand.com.
